Another World Now! is an independent contemporary art project that includes performances and urban actions, billboards and video projections throughout the city of Genoa during the week from 18 to 28 July 2021. The project stems from the need to start a collective confrontation through art given that we are in a period of severe global fragility caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Another World Now! aims to address the legacy of the no global movement twenty years after the G8 in Genoa, looking at the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, so that it does not remain just a “nice promise”, considering that the many policies of those countries that have ratified it, go in the opposite direction of the goals set by the agenda itself and that there is no more time left.
